love reading on my e-ink tablet. And I love email newsletters. But you know what I don't love? Scrolling through a newsletter on an e-ink screen. Scrolling isn't fun on e-ink, generally.

Most e-ink-friendly apps do away with scrolling by using page-turning (Pocket, Kindle) or tap-to-scroll (EinkBro, Wallabag).

But weirdly, there doesn't seem to be a mail client that supports those features. Someone make one please! I'd love to easily read my newsletters on my favorite screen!

Email letters is where a lot of the great content is these days. I am personally subscribed to a number of newsletters and it’s been increasingly frustrating to find them crowding out my inbox.

I also find that I don’t have time to read all of them but still want a better way to discover/sort through newsletters I’ve missed when I have a moment.

When an email bounces, it gets auto-unsubscribed in many mailing lists to protect the reputation of the sender or the mailer service but a working email id can still bounce if the email service provider is having a technical issue and in this case all email ids belonging to that particular email service provider in the mailing list could potentially be unsubscribed automatically.

This can lead to mass unsubscribes if a major email service provider goes down, resulting in unrecoverable cost to the current Newsletter Economy.

To prevent this the mailer service should check the service status of the email provider before mailing to the list.

I think there is a need gap for a service which keeps track of the service status of all email providers in realtime (i.e. not dependent upon user reports like downdetector) which can be used by the mailer services.

I would like to migrate from my decade old Gmail account to another email service provider. Downloading the emails from Gmail is straightforward.

But changing the email id to current email id across different services we are using is a pain, Especially for those services where we don't use 'Sign in with Google'.

Current strategy to find the services we are using with the Gmail id involves searching for account activation information, There are services which automate this but they are not 100% accurate as some services especially those from Govt. don't send account activation email.

Email marketing is raising right now and everyone who had a database is trying to get some result out of it. The most straightforward way is to create a Mailchimp, Campaign Monitor or Convertkit account and upload your database. But there are some restrictions. Before you upload the contact list you should check the list for validity.
