Twitter threads are a way to write long form content on the micro blogging website, It's often used by the entrepreneurial community and yet there's no straightforward mechanism to follow Twitter threads.

There are some Twitter threads which have been running for years, I myself post to my threads running for months for the products I build in public and there needs to be a way for those who'd like to be intimated about a new tweet to the thread. Twitter was supposedly testing such a feature in 2019 and it never saw day light as of writing this, Even in for the premium Twitter Blue subscribers; Which is funny as the ability to 'Mute a conversation' has been there for a long time.

Do you need a tool to follow Twitter threads?

Hi, probably everyone has had the problem of the image being too small when using Pinterest. We have developed a mobile app to view the image for fun and inspiration. Most of our time on Twitter is spent either rage dumping or doom scrolling. Much of it I think stems from the fact that we're forced to engage with random people on Twitter.

We can have a fruitful experience on Twitter, If we can engage people with common interests.

Fortunately, Twitter already does offer a way to find people with common interests - Our followers; But it doesn't offer a way to find the common interest with our followers.

If we could identify the common interest with our Twitter followers, We can build a meaningful relationship.

There has been an exodus of Twitter users to Mastodon instances like mastodon.social .

They have to manually find the Twitter users they were following to follow them on Mastodon, This is tiresome if one was following hundreds or thousands of users on Twitter.

There is a need-gap for an automated tool which can sync the Twitter follows to Mastodon if the users whom we follow have an account in a Mastodon instance.

I would like to tag the companies I tweet or post about, But have to search for the company's Twitter (or) Facebook handle manually each time and If don't find them on the platform, I have to visit their website to find them.

It would be easier if I am able to get the social media handles of the companies I'm tweeting about automatically.

I don't follow all my Twitter followers, But I would like to know what they are up to by adding my Twitter followers to a list and follow the list instead.

I couldn't find an automated solution to achieve this, Only manual methods. An automated mechanism can also help in updating the list when I gain/loose followers.

I like to keep avatars as picture for social media but I don't use iPhone or Samsung phone for those fancy memojis and have to settle in for using Bitmoji app. But Bitmoji avatar stickers come with text and so I want to create avatars without the text.

Is there an app which can help me create memoji like avatars but without text on a non Samsung android phone?

I've noticed that folks with many Twitter followers experience a lot of spam, troll or toxic replies. Recently Pieter Levels shared his script to mute and make unfollow some of his followers by keywords in their bio and other criteria. This is his way to mitigate this issue. I want to get an alert when a particular Twitter handle mentions a keyword, Just like how Google alerts can alert us when the keyword pops up in the search result.

Currently we can search a Twitter account retrospectively using a keyword using '@handle [keyword]' but I want a real-time alert service for Twitter based on keywords.

I'm not constantly hooked to social networks, but when I do occasionally use it; I find some topic trending but unable to find the reason until I put some reasonable amount of time in searching for it.

I think there is a need gap for a service which shows what is trending, where and why is it trending as well in one single place. Please let me know if there is any such service already.

I chat with lot of people through Twitter's direct messaging and the ability to categorize the chat with different labels would be immensely helpful to organize my chats.

I run mostly text based websites nowadays, but for each post I have to create a featured image manually for it to look good when shared on social media.

For user generated content I currently create an og:image procedurally with title text, But for manually typed content say like my curated list of startup tools which has new content regularly I have to take a screenshot along with older content and So I'm looking for a service which helps me take screenshots of specific elements and saves me the time of building one myself.

Everyone prefers to get more likes and shares for their social media posts but none more so than social media managers as we are paid to ensure that. But as the algorithms, people's preferences keep changing it's hard even for experienced social media managers to come up with best social media copy.

There are tools which provides analytics to do A/B testing on social media but all of them require the post/tweet to be published and are time consuming.

If there is a tool/service which allows A/B testing of social media posts without publishing by using historical and current data then it can make lives of social media managers easy.

I work as a freelance social media manager, as part of my work I have to analyse the performance of the social media posts of my clients and their competitors.

Twitter & Facebook themselves offer some form of analytics; Twitter offers for all profiles and Facebook offers it for Business pages, obviously they are limited to the user profile. Social media posting tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer offer insights for those posts posted via their platforms.

But, I need insights for the tweets and posts of others. Like their top performing tweets/posts, segmented categories, timings, gain/loss of followers according to their tweet/post, tweet/post sentiment, media categories etc.

I assume this kind of insights is possible from the public data as there are some tools like https://followerwonk.com/ which gives deep insights about twitter followers and https://foller.me/ which gives insights about public tweets although is limited to 100.

I think if this need gap is fulfilled, the product could be indispensable for social media analysts.

MKBHD a smartphone YouTuber recently published the annual The Blind Camera Test and as usual an unexpected contender wins the test like previous years. It largely comes down to image compression by the social media platforms.

I was wondering when many including myself are spending lot of money in buying a smartphone for its camera to post good quality photographs to social media, social media platform's compression defeats that purpose.

I understand that compression reduces Internet data consumption, but high speed Internet with unlimited data caps is not an issue where I live and others who are in similar circumstance might prefer a social media where photos and videos are not compressed.
