Twitter threads are a way to write long form content on the micro blogging website, It's often used by the entrepreneurial community and yet there's no straightforward mechanism to follow Twitter threads.

There are some Twitter threads which have been running for years, I myself post to my threads running for months for the products I build in public and there needs to be a way for those who'd like to be intimated about a new tweet to the thread. Twitter was supposedly testing such a feature in 2019 and it never saw day light as of writing this, Even in for the premium Twitter Blue subscribers; Which is funny as the ability to 'Mute a conversation' has been there for a long time.

Do you need a tool to follow Twitter threads?

I'm young enough to not know a world without Social media and smartphones. I've been using both all my life. Since then the platforms changed, the world changed, but so have i. I owe a lot to the internet, it made me who i am and give me a future, but i feel in my bones that the modern web slaved me. It made me a dopamine inducing machine, a behavioral addict for profit. At my lowest i spent 12 hours/day browsing mindlessly various platforms. Few days ago after 3 years of fighting i finally deleted Facebook. I tried to find various ways to use it specifically for the value it created for me, but it in end it wasn't possible. The negatives outgrow the positives by far...

The only social media i currently use is Twitter. I use it but in a very constrained way. I follow mostly people from a specific field i'm interested and i see it as a platform that gives me access to people, information/knowledge, and discussions that i would never had access otherwise.

I need a script for twitter where it would grep the most liked/retweeted tweets by my followers from my timeline and exports them to a pdf for later read.

I'm a social media manager and marketer so tweeting on behalf of my clients is part of my daily routine. But there's a problem especially for new accounts, if a new twitter account like/retweet/reply to a famous account then it's an immediate recipe for a shadow ban or Twitter Jail even if the purpose was completely innocuous.

Often, even tweeting the product/company url twice in a day can get one into trouble as Twitter's algorithms are very stringent towards new accounts without enough followers. This leads to the disappointment of my clients, who come to me when they release a product or launch their company and obviously the account I create for them would be new and likelihood of going to Twitter jail is very high.

Fortunately, Twitter releases you from the jail if the infraction isn't severe but there's no way to know when that will happen. It has taken couple of hours, couple of weeks or even never in my experience. There are services like shadowban.eu which provide details about your Twitter Jail sentence but currently there's no way to know when you are out of the jail unless you manually check regularly.

Hi everyone,

I’m using Notion to collect interesting twitter threads which I find valuable.

I would have to copy link and then embed it in Notion. The approach is flawed in terms of searching and categorisation and as well as consuming content.

I'm looking for a way to make the process of collecting twitter threads efficient.

Long twitter threads are becoming more common but reading twitter threads is cumbersome and it reflects in views dropping subsequently for the threaded tweets.

Readers invoke bots like threaderapp to compile the tweets into long post which can be read on the threaderapp website. I'm trying to find if there's a need-gap for better ways to read twitter threads and possible ways to address the need-gap.
