It's worth to note that new chat app based eCommerce platforms do address some of the need-gaps pointed above, but it's shifting from one monopoly to another and it's just the matter of time before same issues arise again. Chat-app platform agnostic eCommerce solution could hedge the risks.

IMO the solution needs to be web based yet offering smooth functionality for the customers using mobile in-order for the small businesses to have complete control over their sales.
