Since I posted this problem it's now proven that individual climate action is a propaganda by the Big Oil and that large corporations are responsible for the climate impact.

Perhaps companies operating at the scale of Google or Facebook could benefit from solutions like yours, But then again they are mostly green as making data-centers green is great for their profit margin. But I don't think an individual developer or startup need to worry about their web application impacting climate; I'd love to be proven wrong with evidence.
