I see where you are coming from, Bakshara. We believe that we as individual developers can indeed make a difference. We had the opportunity to work with Le Monde, one of the biggest newsletters in France, and we managed to reduce their website's emissions by 23%, or more precisely a reduction in carbon emissions from an initially 50 mg to 38.5 mg. With 120 million visits per month to their website, this represents a saving of 1.38 tonnes of CO2 emissions per month. This shows that even "small" improvements can have a major impact.
