A project funded by the Gates Foundation will soon begin issuing at-home testing kits for the novel coronavirus, COVID-19, according to a report in the Seattle Times.
If this turns out to be successful, I'm sure Gates Foundation and governments all over the world would do what's necessary to bring this to primary health care centers around the world.
Due to the scale of COVID-19 and other future diseases there will be large need gap for fast, inexpensive test kits; so startups involved in this segment can invest in developing products to fulfil it.
