Easy why and how of paid subscription.

/problems/2 indicates that it is possible to pay for subscription. However, it's hard for me to determine what the advantages are of a paid subscription from the description "more insights on the platform and through email."

Additionally, I've been unable to find how to sign up for a paid subscription. I assumed I could click the words "Paid Subscription" but that didn't work.
