▲ ▼ How much should I charge for my freelance work
One of the biggest pain point for someone in the gig economy, is to know the value of our time; How much should I charge my clients for the work?
For someone making an entry into the freelance work, there might not be much options than to undercut the competition in pricing. But once we have gained some reputation for our work, Calculating fair market price for our effort is hard.
I feel there is a need gap for tools which help freelancers calculate the fair price for their time.
A good idea to calculate is to check what your salary is , divide by per day and then multiply by 1.-2 x as you also have to invest time in sourcing clients etc.
As a freelancer, it's really hard to know what to charge. Your clients want the best deal. You want to charge as much as you can. But it's hard to find a middle ground.
What if there was a way to figure out exactly what you need to charge in order to support your current lifestyle? That way, you don't charge too much, but you're able to save money and afford all your expenses at the same time! It's a win-win.
This is why I helped make The Freelance Rate Calculator: https://www.freelanceratecalculator.com/
Hey this is awesome, Seems to have everything covered to calculate appropriate rates for freelancing.
