▲ ▼ Free problem solver
There are many homework solvers like Chegg, CourseHero, SolutionInn, etc. which offer similar services but their prices are quite high for someone living in a third world country like Mexico. We have a WhatsApp group in which we are a lot of people solving homework problems yet only one of them has a Chegg subscription and it's awful that everyone asks her the answers because nobody (but her) can afford a Chegg subscription.
This affects students who need their homework solutions ASAP and those with Chegg subscriptions who don't want to be bothered by people (who don't have those) asking them to give their answers.
And also, by making a free problem solver (the solution), homework answers will be readily available for people for free. There will be more features in upcoming updates, some with a premium subscription according to the number of people using it (remember that the homework solver will always be for free).
I am conflicted about this need-gap, I understand that the lack of free problem solver is affecting you but doesn't a problem solver by itself negatively impact education? I mean the problems are meant to be solved to get educated properly.
And if such problem solvers are widely available, especially in a developing country where education is often the only means for better life then I feel it would create more social problems than it solves.
How would you change the solution so it satisfies the need that is currently existing?
I don't think this problem should be solved. Children need to understand the subject and do their home work; If they couldn't then the real problem is not the lack of problem solver but lack of proper tutors which are being addressed by numerous free solutions e.g. https://www.khanacademy.org/ .
I presume you are child yourself and so I want to stress that my comment shouldn't discourage you from finding need-gaps which is a valuable quality.
It didn't discourage me, matter of fact, I've got another idea. How about creating an app in which you can find local tutors in your area who can help you in subjects you don't understand? Sounds like a great idea in my opinion.
I think that's a reasonable problem to solve, Work on the problem statement and post it.
