When I shop online it's so hard to make a choice! Not only I can't understand what would be the right size (when I'm shopping for a brand for the first time), but also I don't understand how the particular garment will look on me. On the other hand, I find shopping online so much more convenient than in stores.
Hey everyone! Thinking about this problem, my husband and I decided to create a virtual fitting room! For that we needed a scalable and easy tool to create precise, accurate and realistic 3D model of a person with just a phone from home. So it took us almost 2 years to develop that. This is a pretty cool technology. Congrats on building this. And it is neatly done too.
How do you plan to puch this to online stores? and any plans to use it in actual retail stores?
That's the biggest challenge. We tried to sell our virtual fitting room to retailers and brands but they are not ready to risk unless we test our product with someone else. So we decided to improve our app and focus on it. The idea is to get more users to the app, and with that we could approach to brands and suggest them representing their clothes in our app.
Interesting. In context of retailer, maybe a more immersive experience should work. I'm sure you must've explored option of bigger screens or holographic displays. would love to see this in different formats, and not just mobile app.

But that wasn't something they were concerned about. The biggest concern: how such experience increases conversions and leads to sales growth.
