▲ ▼ Predicting stocks in an amount of time
Whenever I want to invest in a certain stock, I don't know how is it going to perform in a certain amount of time (for example: in a week, in a month, in a year, etc). This causes many retail investors to make poor trading choices that can lead them to poor results and ending bankrupt in the process.
What I'm thinking about is to make a platform based on trading certain stocks with the help of machine learning and AI which can help the users to make better financial decisions for themselves according to the goals they want to take. For example: they create an account so they can retire earlier, so the AI can help them predict which course of action is the best according to their needs. Or they want to receive the best dividends so the AI can help them choose the best performing dividend stocks.
Maybe we can make a tool to predict in the long term (say 5 years) the performance of a stock, it will be kind of easier to predict the performance of that stock. How would you improve the idea?
That's what the hedge funds using Quantitative models are doing.
