As seen from the number of tools listed here, I think the problem is much deeper like the 'Unavailability to allocate Time' itself as posted here recently -  /problems/71.

I think the task-management tools should form a consortium and lobby governments to pass regulations to protect one's time from being encroached by the corporations for the task-management apps to do their thing.
