• You could remove the friction of having to capture the image manually for each object, by automatically detecting objects via strategically placed cameras in room same way how Amazon Go detects things which consumers put in their cart for queue-less billing.


    I understand that, having such camera system and computer vision complexity would take a product which solves the problem of forgetting where we keep our things away from most consumers; but at the same time solve this need gap definitely as having to take picture of every object placement is a huge chore.

    But, as the cost of cameras, computation and computer vision has come down rapidly its best time to take leverage for addressing this problem. Perhaps, using old smartphones as camera replacements could bring down the cost further.
