I've been thinking about this too, although much of the information I consume are usually from highly curated sources like HN - https://news.ycombinator.com or specific subreddits from https://reddit.com , they are not complete and cannot replace regional/national news. Again, none of them provide the news we need, they only provide what we wanted.

I think, we need to change the fundamental format of news and the schedule delivery.

I'm thinking about once a day news delivery with the following sections, one news source per section strictly -

• A section for hyperlocal news e.g. Weather, COVID-19 figures etc.
• A section for personalised health i.e. health news relevant to our current health.
• A section related to our career - /problems/45 .
• A section for national news e.g. Economy, Politics etc.
• A section for international news.
• A totally irrelevant section for a random news outside our bubble.
