▲ ▼ Finding which college course help reach ambition
There are plenty of resources for finding universities, colleges and their ranking; but I'm yet to come across one which can simply tell me which course should I take based on my current skills, financial capacity and at which university to reach my ambition.
Say, if my ambition is to be an astronaut, may be I need not waste 4 years on Engineering; perhaps I can take 2 years course on Physics, Math, take up the pilot training program and apply to NASA (or) May be new space ventures such as SpaceX, Blue Origin would have Astronaut training program themselves and I should focus my education according to it.
A education/career advising web service or app should be able to give me this advise after getting the necessary inputs from me such as education, skills, grades, financial situation etc. based on up-to date information on the field of education, career, global economy, emerging technologies etc.

Glad that you feel that there's a need for this and you have perfectly captured the problem I mentioned - “What training, certification, experience will I need to be successful?" by taking into account my personal accomplishments, financial capacity and other variables i.e. truly personalized advice.
I think for the makers, the reward overweighs the pain in bringing the right professionals to advice. Since, the world economy has gone to shambles; the need for such career advice tool is greater than ever.
Yes it is a pain point for me too. However thz problem is that sucessful People don't really share how they make it.
I ve tried to gather roadmap for the past week, you could only have answer for People who learned how to draw or how to become x or y in Web development.
One thing that i notice is that People who are selling trainings are those who are filling the gap and they make money out of the key is to bring them in your service

We need to perform analysis on various data points from the lives of different professionals, especially apart from their key decisions like their choice of courses in school, college we need underlying data points to gauge their habits which led their path to current profession like their hobbies, favourite sports, movies, music, etc.
